Rules & Memory
Defining number- and time-based rules, editing them, how rule priority works, and what the Memory screen does.
You define how specific calls are handled by creating number- or contact-based rules. For example, if your supplier calls it goes straight through to you, while unknown numbers speak to the assistant first.
Yes. You can define different rules for your business hours, lunch break, weekends or holidays.
You can view all your rules via Menu > Memory. You can also ask the assistant to tell you.
Memory is where the rules you give the assistant and the information about your business are stored. The assistant manages your calls according to these rules.
You can view, edit or delete your rules from the Menu > Memory screen. To add a new rule, just message your assistant from the Assistant tab.
It lets you define a separate behaviour rule for a specific number or a contact in your address book. When that number calls, the assistant acts only according to that rule.
From the Add Contact-Specific Rule section on the Assistant screen, select the number and define the message and routing rules for it.
You can view, edit, or delete existing rules and instructions via Menu > Memory.
Yes. You can add multiple conditions and instructions for the same number; for example, you can route the call differently based on the caller's response.
Rules are evaluated in priority order and the first matching rule is applied; the others do not run. You can change the priority order by messaging the assistant.
There is no practical limit. But a lot of similar rules makes it harder for the assistant to make the right decision, so we recommend keeping your rules simple.
Memory holds the rules that decide how the assistant behaves. Q&A holds the information to be given to callers. In short, Memory is for you and Q&A is for your customers.
