Call Answering & Routing
How the assistant greets your customers, which calls it forwards to you, and what happens to calls outside your business hours.
The assistant answers the call with your business name and finds out who is calling and what they want. It answers their question with the information you have defined, takes an appointment or a request, or transfers the call to you. When the conversation ends, it leaves you a short note.
You decide. For example, if you define a rule like “answer pricing questions yourself, connect complaints to me”, the assistant acts accordingly.
After every conversation the assistant sends you a note with who called, what they wanted and the details they left. You can read the whole conversation on the Recent Calls screen.
When you define your business hours, the assistant handles out-of-hours calls accordingly; it informs the caller, notes their request and passes it on to you. You can also choose to send out-of-hours calls straight to voicemail.
The assistant can answer several calls at once. Callers are not put in a queue; it speaks to each of them separately.
When the caller says they want to speak to you, the assistant transfers the call to you or asks them to leave a voicemail. You can also set this behaviour with a rule.
Tell the assistant about your important customers, specific numbers, or the call reasons that are critical for you; these calls are always forwarded to you.
Yes. It uses the name you set in your business profile. You can also write the greeting in your own words from the Custom Greeting section.
